“WIFFLE has been an enormous part of our family for three generations, but its impact is felt well beyond our family and Shelton, CT,” said David Mullany, president of The Wiffle Ball, Inc. “WIFFLE has brought recreation, competition and, best of all, fun to millions of people across the country. It has been an incredible source of happiness for our family to know that our life’s work has provided so many with good times and lasting memories. The Rose family shares our love of the game and we are excited for them to carry the WIFFLE legacy forward.”

Founded in 1953, WIFFLE has become a staple of American backyards, with its signature yellow bat and white perforated plastic ball connecting generations of families and friends. Under the new ownership, WIFFLE will retain its name, products, Shelton headquarters, employees and commitment to American manufacturing. David and Stephen Mullany will remain involved as advisors, sharing their decades of experience and helping guide the transition.

The new ownership group includes brothers Logan and Carson Rose and their mother, Jordan Rose. Logan will serve as CEO, while Carson will serve as Chief Growth Officer. Jordan, founder of Rose Law Group, brings more than three decades of business experience to the ownership group and will serve as Chairman of the Board. The family also plans to expand WIFFLE’s leadership team, bringing in additional expertise to support the company’s operations and long-term growth.

“Almost everyone has a Wiffle Ball memory, whether it’s a home run derby in a cul-de-sac, turning your backyard into a field or playing at the beach with friends,” said Logan Rose, CEO. “It’s one of America’s great backyard traditions, and for my family, it’s always been part of our lives.”

Logan and Carson grew up playing WIFFLE before launching Big League Wiffle Ball in their Arizona backyard during the COVID-19 pandemic. The league has since grown into a national sports property with 10 professional teams and games broadcast on ESPN platforms.

“Wiffle Ball is more than a game. It’s the definition of pure joy, and we’re excited to share that with even more families,” said Carson Rose, Chief Growth Officer.

The acquisition will preserve the familiarity, nostalgia, and sense of tradition that have made Wiffle Ball an enduring part of American summers, while continuing to build the game’s growing reputation as a competitive sport and introducing it to new players, fans, and communities.

WIFFLE will continue operations largely as it does today, serving its existing customers and suppliers. In addition, the Roses intend to explore opportunities to expand the WIFFLE brand into new communities, building a lifestyle around one of America’s great backyard traditions.
