Maridea Wealth Management (“Maridea”) today announced that River Cities Financial Services, Ltd. (“River Cities Financial Services”) and Dietz, Futrell & Walters Insurance, Inc. (“DFW Insurance”), two affiliated firms based in Marietta, Ohio, will join Maridea’s national platform. The addition marks Maridea’s first presence in Ohio.

DFW Insurance was founded in 1948 as an independent insurance agency, and River Cities Financial Services grew out of that foundation in 1985 to provide comprehensive wealth management, financial planning, retirement planning, investment planning, and estate planning services. Together, the firms serve individuals, families, and business owners from offices in Marietta, Beverly, and Chillicothe, Ohio, offering an integrated combination of personal, business, and benefits insurance alongside full-service wealth management.

Michael Anthony, President of River Cities Financial Services and a partner at DFW Insurance, will join Maridea as Senior Investment Advisor and Managing Partner. Anthony has more than two decades of experience in wealth planning and investment advising, having purchased an investment division in 2009 and became a firm partner in 2014. He is joined by Dustin Becker, Vice President of River Cities Financial Services and a partner at DFW Insurance, who will join Maridea as Director of Insurance. Becker brings more than 24 years of property and casualty insurance experience and has been a partner at both firms since January 2018.

Joining Anthony from River Cities Financial Services are Investment Advisors Stacey Brooks, Keith Thieman, Brayden Sallee, Rick Walters, and; Operations Manager Janelle Sprague; and Client Service Associate Tammy Wells. Joining Becker from DFW Insurance are Insurance Agents Mishelle Shaffer, Amber Johnson, and Deidre Barton.
