How it works

People bring whatever they are weighing: a decision they keep circling, a headline that got under their skin, or a belief they are no longer sure of. The app’s first thinking tool, Perspectives, lays out multiple genuine viewpoints on the question, each presented the way someone who actually holds it would present it, with no verdict at the end. The point is not to pick a side, but to see the whole shape of a question before deciding anything, without being steered or judged. More features and thinking tools will be released before the end of the year.

Asked to simply make a decision, the Thinking Partner does not supply its own conclusion. It helps the user reflect on their own thinking patterns and leaves the conclusion to the user. 

Every conversation adds to a private picture of how the user reasons: their beliefs, their values, their patterns, the way they weigh one thing against another. The Thinking Partner offers what it notices as tentative observations. The user affirms them, corrects them, or removes them. The picture is the user’s own work, built one honest conversation at a time.

Privacy by design

In the app, TrueU.ai carries no ads, and users’ personal data is never sold. Conversations are never used to train AI models and are encrypted at rest. Users can delete their personal data at any time, which also removes the understanding built from it.
