Menlo Business Brokerage is pleased to announce that Greg Glickfeld has joined the Arizona-based firm. In his role, he will work with business owners across a variety of industries to guide them through the process of selling their businesses. Located in Michigan, Glickfeld brings decades of experience as an operator and deal maker, offering business owners practical insight into value creation, growth, and successful exits.
“I’m looking forward to helping business owners understand how to value and sell their companies,” Glickfeld said. “I enjoy meeting entrepreneurs, learning new skills, expanding my network, and being part of what comes next for both the owner and the business.”
Glickfeld has built a career spanning private label manufacturing, ecommerce, wholesale distribution, sales leadership, physical retail, and logistics. He began his career in sales and inventory procurement within the sporting goods industry, with a focus on inventory management and liquidation. In 2002, after developing a global network of suppliers and retail customers, Glickfeld co-founded a wholesale distribution business alongside the owner of a retail chain, with the goal of building a scalable B2B operation supported by high-margin retail outlets.
As the business evolved, Glickfeld helped lead its expansion into direct-to-consumer ecommerce, launching multiple specialty platforms and developing a strong marketplace presence. As a senior leader and partner, he played a key role in the company’s continuous reinvention within an entrepreneurial, data-driven, and financially disciplined environment. These efforts culminated in the sale of the business to private equity in 2015.
Following the sale, Glickfeld remained involved as a board member, continued to grow private label brands, and executed multiple acquisitions that contributed to significant revenue growth. Glickfeld’s experience includes building and scaling businesses, navigating private equity ownership, and executing complex transactions across different stages of a company’s lifecycle.
“My experience building and reinventing companies over more than two decades has shown me how value is created,” Glickfeld said. “Transparency, communication, and persistence are critical throughout the sale process, and I bring that mindset to every conversation.”
In his role at Menlo Business Brokerage, Glickfeld will help business owners across the Midwest understand their company’s value, prepare for a sale, and connect with the right buyers.
“Greg understands the business sale process from the inside out,” said Mitch Lamb, MBA, CEO of Menlo Business Brokerage. “He has built, grown, acquired, and exited businesses himself, which allows him to guide owners with clarity, credibility, and a practical perspective. We’re excited to welcome him to the Menlo team.”
